General Manager - Egypt

Ashraf Boutros Asaad, General Manager, NAS Egypt has over 30 years of experience in managing airport operations, airlines and ground handling companies. Well versed with both ICAO and IATA standards, Ashraf has worked with several multinational organizations throughout Africa and the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

Prior to joining NAS, Ashraf worked with USAID where he helped support their efforts in Liberia as the Regional Operations Manager. He also worked with the UN as a Station Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Deputy General Manager at the Marsa Alam International Airport and as a Station Manager with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in various locations.

Ashraf has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from Cairo University and possesses several certifications in management, operations, and safety. He has received numerous awards including Station Team Award of Excellence from the PAE Government Services and a Partnership Award for Excellence from British Airways.
