ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The world’s first internationally recognized certification for IT Service Management System (ITSM), ensures that the implementation of IT systems and services best practices at NAS are in alignment with the globally renowned IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).



ISO/IEC 27001:2013 - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Information Security Management System (ISMS) ensures the secure management of sensitive company information; including people, processes and IT systems. NAS has a set of policies and procedures for systematically managing an organization's sensitive data.



ISO BCMS 22301 - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) ISO 22301 is the most credible framework for effective business continuity management in the world. NAS is one of nine countries in the Middle East and 13 countries in Africa to achieve this certification. Business continuity planning is an essential part of any operation and ensures least interruption during disruptive events. Through this standard NAS ensures that it is prepared for, responds to, and recovers quickly when disruptive incidents arise.



ISO 9001 - 2000 – ISO QUALITY SYSTEMS

ISO 9001 – 2000 is a Quality System developed by the International Standards Organization to improve and homogenize its quality standards and ensure that they are on par with the rest of the world. ISO Certification means NAS utilizes standards and systems that are accepted and recognized worldwide.



ISAGO- IATA SAFETY AUDIT FOR GROUND OPERATION

ISAGO has two primary objectives of which one is to improve safety in ground operations and the other objective is to eliminate redundant audits of ground handling companies by airlines. Based on the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) framework, ISAGO aims to implement a formal, systematic process to manage operational risk and safety, reducing accidents, incidents and injuries. The ISAGO standard was established in May of 2008. By applying the ISAGO standard, NAS aims to fulfill its strategic vision which is a commitment to exceed customer expectations.



EASA PART -145 - EUROPEAN AVIATION SAFETY AGENCY

The European Aviation Safety Agency promotes the highest common standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation for countries of the European Union and its standards and processes are adapted by airline handling companies and civil aviation authorities worldwide. The EASA approval (Part 145) enables NAS to certify A320 Airbus series and perform air frame and body checks, pre flight maintenance and operations checks.



IATA – INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION

IATA is the International trade body that has built and regulates almost all of the commercial standards that govern the aviation industry today. NAS through its membership with IATA ensures that it is on par with the rest of the world with regard to know-how, technology and industry recommended processes and procedures



TIACA – THE INTERNATIONAL AIR CARGO ASSOCIATION

TIACA is the only worldwide organization which brings together all the links of the air logistics chain. Membership with TIACA enables NAS to establish closer relations with leaders in the air cargo industry and helps it keep up with the latest in air cargo trends on a regular basis.



AHS 1000 – AIRPORT HANDLING STANDARDS

AHS 1000 is the only fully independent implementation and accreditation system which represents Handling Companies and Carriers worldwide. NAS utilizes this powerful quality measurement and control system to lower costs, improve efficiency and increase performance levels without the need for additional manpower and systems.



GASA – GULF AIRPORTS SERVICES ASSOCIATION

The Gulf Airports Services Association is an association of 11 regional ground handling companies. We meet regularly to explore ways to work more closely together through the exchange of ideas on industry procedures, documentation, equipment and training pertaining to the region. NAS is able to contribute positively to issues involving training and service enhancement.



ACI-AIRPORTS COUNCIL INTERNATIONAL

ACI is an international body that represents a common interest and promotes cooperation between the different stakeholders of airports in conjunction with ICAO, ground handlers and airlines tackling key issues and concerns that are part of the aviation industry. ACI offers its members numerous training opportunities, a customer service benchmarking program, detailed industry statistical analyses and practical publications



ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

EMS is referred to an international standard, ISO 14001:2004 and acts primarily as a management system that addresses the full spectrum of issues concerning the environment. EMS certification maintains the balance between the economy and the environment through a structured approach. This approach is carried out in NAS towards the planning and implementation of growth strategies without impacting the environment negatively and also includes identifying, monitoring and improving the significant environmental impacts. EMS also calls for safe disposal of waste material, solids, liquids as well as emissions from motorized equipment.



OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT SERIES (OHSAS 18001:2007)

OHSAS is a worldwide standard giving requirement that relates to health and safety management systems. It enables organizations to have both control and knowledge over all relevant hazards resulting from normal operations and abnormal situations and the means to improve its performance. OHSAS will assist NAS with better control and increased efficiency to bring about accident reduction and minimal hazards thus enabling customers to benefit from such standards.



IGHC – INTERNATIONAL GROUND HANDLING ASSOCIATION

The IATA Ground Handling Council (IGHC) is the major forum of international ground handling executives. The council brings together over 400 organizations providing or purchasing ground handling services to airlines worldwide. This allows NAS to be a part of an international forum to discuss issues relating to passenger & cargo movement and contribute to the development of ground handling standards.



ISO 22000:2005 FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

NAS has established and implemented a system to ensure the food safety submitted at the Pear Lounge including but not limited to: Daily food material inspection – handling and storing check – risk assessment study – training and awareness – personnel hygiene control – pest control – food samples laboratory testing – internal audit.
