Hassan El- Houry, Group CEO of National Aviation Services (NAS) has been honored by Aviators Africa as a “Changemaker – Technology” by their Tower Awards. The Tower Awards recognize, celebrate and honor excellence as well as sustainability within the African aviation sector in an effort to appreciate both organizations and individuals that have contributed immensely to the industry.
El-Houry has been synonymous with the phenomenal growth of NAS. Starting with one ground-handling contract in Kuwait, the company has grown to build a presence in more than 55 airports across 20 countries in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. This includes investing in facilities, equipment, operations and training of employees to offer the highest quality and safest services in each location.
An aviation industry expert, author (Fly Africa), World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (YGL) and YGL advisory board leader, El-Houry also serves on the board of several other emerging market companies.
During the pandemic, NAS was the first to introduce several innovative technology solutions to make travel safer and easier contributing greatly to the global recovery of air travel.
