National Aviation Services (NAS) in Cote d’Ivoire, NAS Ivoire, built a school canteen for the public primary school - l’Ecole primaire publique (EPP) in the town of Grand Bassam, which was recently inaugurated by Jean-Louis Moulot, Mayor of Grand Bassam and General Manager of SODEXAM along with Jean Louis Ekra, President of the Administrative Council of NAS Ivoire.
The canteen has a capacity of 250 seats to help the children attending the school have a comfortable and safe place to gather, eat and rest within the school premises during their breaks or during extreme weather. Prior to this, these young students would be forced to make long journeys back home just to have lunch or left to themselves in the schoolyard.
The ceremony was attended by Cisse Abdoulaye, Group Chief Operating Officer – Ground Handling and Cargo, Rabah Bu Hamdan, NAS Group Chief Human Resources Officer and Cherif Fall, General Manager of NAS Ivoire.
A part of NAS’s corporate social responsibility initiatives, this activity was aimed at giving back to the local communities where the company operates.
