In our ongoing efforts to support community initiatives, NAS employees marked the World Blood Donor Day with different activities across the network.

These included raising awareness about the benefits of blood donation and blood donation drives. Donated blood helps people with chronic diseases or complications as well as in other emergencies. One pint of blood can save up to three lives.

The theme of this year's World Blood Donor Day emphasized the need to increase the number of donors - “Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join the effort and save lives.” 

By conducting activities for World Blood Donor Day, NAS aimed to give back to local communities by instilling the importance of blood donation and potentially saving lives.
